Wrap Around Care

At Twin Sails Infant School & Nursery and Hamworthy Park Junior School, we provide the following Wraparound Care clubs:

Breakfast Club - this club runs from 7.30am to 8.30am, Monday to Friday.  The current charge for a Breakfast Club session is £4.10. This includes food and drink and a variety of activities form playing with toys, to outside physical games or relaxation with a television programme.

After School Coral Club - Coral Club is our newly combined Federated offer, with all children attending the club based in rooms at Twin Sails, creating a family, federated feel to the club. There will be a wider variety of activities and more choice for the children. We believe this will enrich their afterschool experience and better support their interests and development.

Children will be offered a biscuit and a drink on arrival at the club. This will be followed up with a tea of sandwich and fruit at approximately 4pm.

If collecting from Coral Club, all parents will now collect from the Main Office entrance, based on the Twin Sails site.

The current charge for an After School Club session is £8.20.

Both Breakfast Club and After School Coral Club have been running successfully for a number of years and are run by our own experienced and dedicated staff members.  Please note: sessions must be booked via our My Child at School (MCAS) system and must be paid for in advance of attending.

Payment can be made by debit/credit card using the MCAS application. Tax Free Childcare can be used under certain conditions. Please click on the link below to register. Both Twin Sails Infant School & Nursery and Hamworthy Park Junior School are registered as a provider for the government tax free childcare scheme.

Please ensure that you allow 7 days from instructing/paying your provider until funds can be applied to your MCAS Account.

Once you are set up, please contact finance@hamworthyprimaryschools.co.uk when you have made the first payment , (please advise amount and unique references).

After School Clubs

After School Clubs

We strive to offer a range and variety of experience through our after school clubs. These clubs are designed to meet the needs of different year groups and take place for one hour after school. Across the academic year, we offer sport clubs such as football, tag rugby, rounders, athletics and multi-sports, as well as non sport options such as Quiz Club, Books and Biscuits and Ukulele.

We also hire out our facilities so that external providers such as CASA and Mini Handball can offer a wider variety of clubs to the children, such as Dodgeball, NERF, Basketball, Dance and Gymnastics.

After-school clubs run for a 10-week period each term. Internal clubs run by the school cost £20 per club, per term. Payment is only via your child's MCAS account and you will need to sign your child up for every club they wish to attend.

Externally run clubs are paid for via their own websites:

For Year 1 and Year 2 at Twin Sails:
Twin Sails - Twin Sails Infant | casa (casaltd.net)

For Hamworthy Park Junior School:
Hamworthy Park Junior - Hamworthy Park Junior | casa (casaltd.net)
Mini Handball - Mini Handball
Ukulele - Ukers - High Pine Music

Collection from Extra-Curricular Clubs:

Collection from Twin Sails after school clubs is via the Main Office. Collection for HPJS clubs is from the Twin Sails Roundabout. Due to the volume of parents collecting at the end of the day, we ask that you please park in designated car park spaces and please do not park on the roundabout to avoid congestion.

Our after school clubs are often heavily over-subscribed and we hold waiting lists for those that are unsuccessful gaining a place. Please let the School Office know if your child no longer wants to attend a club, so we can offer the place to another child.
